Remember the Alamo.
I could leave, but I won’t go
Though my heart might tell me so
I can’t feel a thing from my head down to my toes
The hardest working man in music, james brown can suck it.
Good choice for today. Now play “Revolution” by the Beatles.
I’m afraid I’ll have to upstage you with Phil Collins live, “In the Air Tonight.”

This song came at the right time in my life. My first true love and I split ways. (Then we did that several times again).
and the man played a million session recording during this time
Lots of talent there. I just find his lyrics to be on the insipid side, unlike Fagen & Becker.
😎👍
Phil Collins did a great cover for an old Supremes song: “Can’t Hurry Love”.
His calm delivery, unremarkable voice and dry sounding throat made it enjoyable and engaging.
Another well done Phil Collins cover would be his version of “Groovy Kind of Love”, originally by The Mindbenders.
Phil slows the tempo down and creates an entirely different kind of performance.
When you really don’t care anymore, you don’t care any moewoe! ...no mow no mow... no mow no moe... no moe no mow... and so on to infinfity...
Saw him in concert and, it was beyond amazing. The guy played for hours with, maybe a 20 minute break I am grateful I was able to see him prior to his major health issues.
