Trump is a conundrum; he did well as president, making good on promises and driving the dems crazy, but in insulting DeSantis, he is showing he may not have learned from his tendency to pick the wrong allies. If Ron sits out 2024 and runs in ‘28, what will Trump have to say about his candidacy after all the negative BS?
I’d vote for DeSantis in a head-to-head choice with Trump. That said, I think you’re right that he should sit out 2024; he got a dose of reality in presidential politics when he backtracked on Russia/Ukraine, so he has more to learn. But, sadly, Trump can’t seem to find a verbal filter in dealing with the FL governor. If he would just suggest what you do instead of the pejoratives, I’d lean more to Trump than I do. In any event, I vote for the GOP nominee in ‘24.
I don’t know about that, but he does seem to be backed by Globohomo, and those who pay the piper usually call the tune. So the outstanding Governor of Florida could indeed become another George nWo Bush or Mitt Obamney in the WH.

Don’t you think it’s odd that trump had these incredible supporters who swooned over him until they worked for him and then they turned? A few probably would be on them but the majority must be on trump. I’ve never seen anything like it. Remember he personally hand chose each individual to work for him.

It’s no wonder Trump fears DeSantis and is railing against him constantly. He has to know if he people get a good look at DeSantis, especially side by with him on the debate stage, DeSantis will come out on top. DeSantis’ extraordinary record in office and devotion to constituents; his youth, his military service; his middle class background, work ethic and values, devotion to wife and family, along with his ability to articulate the issues without undue blister and self-adulation are things that Lockdown Don- like the Dims- doesn’t want the voters to see.
