AirTag was designed to help people locate their personal belongings, not to track people or another person’s property, and we condemn in the strongest possible terms any malicious use of our products. That is Apple’s response. They do not even know the circumstances of the shooting and they are condemning the person. If no charges are filed, he should sue Apple for defamation.
I'd bet just about anything that those same spokespersons at Apple fully support holding firearm manufacturers liable for misuse of their products.
