My first question - why was DePape wearing a bathrobe at the time of the attack?

I say arrest paul pelosi. If he’s innocent, he can prove it in court ...
(at least that’s how nanzi sees things)

Iām a betting man. And Iād bet that there will be no trial.
DePape will be offered money through an intermediary to accept a plea deal.
DePape gets rich, and Paul Pelosi can go back to cruisinā and boozinā.

Doesn’t he have the right to a quick and speedy trial?

And why is this a Federal charge? Did anyone cross State lines to deliver the hammer or the hummer?

I don’t understand how this ended up on federal court.

October? Would have expected it should have already happened. Guy gave police a confession right?

Why is this a “federal” trial? Is California devoid of state laws against assault???
As POTUS I would recommend Congress void all federal laws that have their counterparts in the laws of the states. That should free up many federal courts and allow for the firing of many federal prosecutors.
