Here is a Punk Rock music CD I found last week. I was able to find two songs from it on YouTube:
The Epoxies - Join the Professionnals
The Exploding Hearts - Sniffin' Glue

I found this wall picture a few weeks ago outside a building across the street from my MIL grave after I placed flowers,

I measured it as 5 feet 3 inches wide. Sorry the hall light is currently out on the left and my camera won't let me use flash while in wide mode. Maybe I will find a light bulb (lol joke). My wife has commented a few times that she really likes it, reminds her of us heading out the door (they are facing towards our front door. I told here: Yea and I#M the first elephant trying to crap before we go! I think that is Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.

I balanced it on the back of my bike with one hand, pushed on the handle bar with the other and walked a quarter mile home with it.

I would get a second bike for Treptower Park because I really like this style of frame. But finding an XL cruiser frame for my 6 feet 4 inches is a big problem. My used bike of 55 cm was too small but my new (not so new now) 60 cm is good. This bike is a good idea but it still has no gears, handlebar brakes (push back on the pedal to brake), nor shocks or fenders. But still I really like the style of the frame and enjoy seeing them. I wish they made a hybrid road/mountain/cargo/cruiser bike with this frame in XL size. With a military look. Don't get me wrong though - still love my bike.

This layout and design graphic was created for social media at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, April 5, 2023. It depicts images of bicycles and has text laying out German laws and other tips for riding a bicycle safely. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Senior Airman Madelyn Keech)

Good to know and keep in mind with the warm weather coming. Remember it's your life worth saving. Plus you don't want to injure anyone else.

I told my wife she like the wall picture so much (see post #42) that I found her the book (as they look similar):

Here is an article in English about the book.
The shooting of environmentalist Joan Root at her 88-acre farm overlooking Lake Naivasha, last January, shocked Kenya’s “Happy Valley” and the entire conservation world. Blonde, beautiful, and fearless, she had been idolized for the pioneering wildlife films she made with her husband, Alan. After their agonizing divorce, she devoted herself to an even more dangerous mission: saving her beloved lake from the ecological ravages of Africa’s lucrative flower-farming industry. The author investigates the violent clashes between desperate immigrant poachers and Root’s private army that, some locals believe, brought three killers with an AK-47 to her door.

6 Easy Ways To Find Your Perfect Riding Position
Today happens to be my 58th Birthday (TY, TY, TYVM!). So for me the perfect riding position is sitting straight up. Perhaps thatÄs supposed to be embarrassing but I like it so much I JDGAS. I used to ride my bicycle a lot with my Dutch mother and my tall frame of 6 foot 4 inches pushed me off bicycling because it was too uncomfortable for me to crouched forward on a road bike and mountain bikes did not yet exist. So for many decades I did not ride a bicycle, which is actually one of my biggest regrets, maybe the biggest.

So it's my Birthday and after celebrating and planning what we are going to do this extended weekend (Monday is a holiday.)... I retreated to my man-cave and just felt the need to search up this song on YouTube.

Shortly after the song started my wife sung the door open quick and demanded to know why I played THAT song.

I honestly said: Because It's my Birthday and I am happy to be alive.

She said that when she was out earlier, there were three men playing that song in the subway station.

I hope you all enjoy my Birthday!

I have to add that I am a victim of society. /J

But the truth is also that becoming driving age shifted the whole focus away from bicycling too. One of my first cars was a 1984 Monte Carlo. It had a hood-scoop with a Wolf in a Hawaii shirt holding two Coors and read: "Beer Wolf".

So I believe it would be good to promote bicycling in the school system that teaches the health benefits and enjoyment of bicycling. With a message that it's OK to both drive a car but still enjoy bicycling. Yes I guess some people need to be instructed that.... haha.

Just think of all the good things that nobody teaches in school.

There are six minutes left to my Birthday.
Then I#m just going to be older.
