Report of DeSantis running for president appears to be fake after Rebekah Jones made the initial report.
For those who don’t remember @GeoRebekah became a star on the left when she falsely claimed DeSantis was manipulating COVID data.
Recently, Jones was in the news after she went viral for claiming DeSantis “kidnapped” her son. Turns out he threatened to shoot up a middle school.
Lesson learned. Never trust anything this woman says.

...that was Fake News about Da don’t Ron RonIIRC there was an informal policy adopted around here a year or so ago that advised a 24-36 hour silence on news reports to allow them to invalidate themselves before we got tangled up with the potential mess/waste of time.
Any other votes to reinstitute that sort of thing?
(That's one of the reasons why I'm mostly lurking, BTW. Absolutely hate wasting my time on bogus information.)
