Progressive firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has been served with an ethics complaint by an outside group that accuses her of 'defaming' the creator of the Libs of TikTok account on Twitter, with more than 2 million followers.
The creator, Chaya Raichik delivered the legal papers herself.
The conservative Heritage Foundation asked the Office of Congressional Ethics to open a probe into the matter.
The step does not guarantee a probe by the House Ethics Committee, which has a bipartisan membership and decides which matters involving lawmakers to probe.
The New York lawmaker asked asked Yoel Roth, the former head of trust and safety at Twitter, about the account in a February Oversight hearing: 'Are you aware… that from August 11th to August 16th that account posted false information about Boston Children's Hospital claiming that they were providing hysterectomies to children?'
'Yes, I am aware of that,' Roth said.
'And are you aware that this lie was then circulated by other prominent far-right influences?' added Ocasio-Cortez, in a claim the account and its allies dispute.
She was referring to a tweet from the Libs of TikTok account that showed a video a video of Dr. Frances Grimstad of the Boston Children's Hospital touting the healthcare facility's 'gender-affirming hysterectomy' and 'ovary removal' procedures.
The Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project posted video of the moment when Ocasio-Cortez, a 'squad' member, got served with the complaint inside the Cannon House Office Building. Raichik delivered paperwork herself in the dramatic moment that the group posted.

I have heard of similar things, these seem to be the nastiest most miserable people on the planet. They are for free choice as long as it’s the “correct” choice
