Sweden, Covid and ‘excess deaths’: a look at the data
Spectator ^ | March 10, 2023 | Michael Simmons

Pandemics kill people in two ways, said Chris Whitty at the start of the Covid outbreak: directly and indirectly, via disruption. He was making the case for caution amidst strong public demand for lockdown, stressing the tradeoffs. While Covid deaths were counted daily, the longer-term effects would take years to come through. The only real way of counting this would be to look at ‘excess deaths’, i.e. how many more people die every month (or year) compared to normal. That data is now coming through.

Using the most common methodology, Sweden is at the bottom – below Australia and New Zealand, which had plenty of lockdowns but very few Covid deaths. Here are the graphs that we have just published on The Spectator data hub.

Cumulative excess deaths in Sweden and OECD countries

Cumulative refers to the sum of the difference between pre-pandemic average and deaths occurring from Jan 2020 onwards

The starting point is NOT Jan, 2020.

The starting point is Jan, 2021 when the poison death shots were forced on the public.

The purpose of the virus was to get the fools to inject an untested, DANGEROUS drug into their arms. We now know that DANGEROUS actually means sometimes deadly.

The question now is how long will it take for this VAIDS (Vaxxxxxine caused AIDS where your body's immune system attacks AND KILLS it's own cells) scenario to start killing really large numbers of people? The next graph shows excess deaths is over one million in the US since the dangerous gene therapy shots were forced on the public. The graph also shows the quickest rise in EXCESS DEATHS is younger ages.

The next figure shows the largest EXCESS DEATHS occurred in the younger ages corresponding to the Brandon mandates- if you want to keep your job, get waxxxxxinated.

As an aside, since the world over have covid stats that are about half of what they are in the US, one can reasonably assume that the real number of those that died of covid in the US is about half of the number counted.

There were huge financial incentives for hospitals to declare that someone died of covid. That would certainly affect the death rate from “covid.”

--- "...data is now coming through.."

Real anomalies in the "data" have been seen for years, showing that Covid was an "event," its "official" taxonomy suspect from April 2020, its mortality rate less than 1/10th of one percent over this last three plus years, and the media-driven panic manipulated. It has been a fraud, for those who would simply look. The excess deaths are now well in evidence, but more than this the mRNA products are hazardous to many and deadly in some.

The pro-jab Freepers' voices are disappearing slowly from these sorts of threads, as the obvious is showing itself as -- well -- obvious.

It was either Covid, the Covid Vaccines or the Lockdowns that are causing excess deaths.

If Sweden vaccine rates are comparable to Western Europe, then it was the Lockdowns.

Or one could more reasonably assume that much of the world has poor medical surveillance capability and Covid deaths are greatly underreported.

Lockdowns only matter if they change the behavior of the population. The Swedish people may well have had better social hygiene without a government lockdown than other countries that did.
