Use distilled water with salt.
Just as the contaminated eye drops are killing and blinding people with infection, so can contaminants that touch the mucus membrane.
I use chlorinated water from the faucet, boil it, and let it cool in the neti pot. Contaminated neti pots can contaminate distilled water.
I also run the neti pot through the dishwasher on HOT water.
I even boil my distilled water. I don’t use mine much but it makes a huge difference in how I feel in Spring when pollen is thick.
What’s wrong with ordinary saline nasal spray? Distilled water and salt. Boil before filling the spray bottle.
I mix in some Listerine when I think I might be getting a cold. THAT will wake you up!
If your woke religion REQUIRES that you use a neti pot, microwave it to boiling, then let it cool before using.
