Thomas Massie says Trump should have fired Fauci at the very beginning of COVID-19 pandemic
Twitter ^ | March 28 | Rep. Thomas Massie

Posted on 03/27/2023 10:34:18 PM PDT by RandFan

@RepThomasMassie

I was there on Sunday. It was obvious to anyone who dared to ask questions that Fauci was a fraud and Trump should have fired him. At a minimum Trump should have quit inviting him to the meetings and press conferences, but he did not.

RE:

@jannaherbison

Has @RepThomasMassie ever heard of the terms “Monday morning quarterbacking” or “hindsight is 20/20”? We all trusted Dr. Fauci back then. What else was the President supposed to do in real time?

And the teachers unions. They hurt society the most in my opinion.

Pretty much. Massie is a smart guy but this comment doesn’t serve a purpose especially since all of Congress was crying impeachment anytime Trump tried to fire anybody.

When he went into DC I don’t think he understood how deep and wide the swamp really is. Heck, even here at FR, I think we came to a newer, better understanding of it, watching Trump 2016-now. And we already knew it was a bad swamp.

It’s move towards Trump or move towards RINOS.

Seems like a never ending supply of Surrender Monkeys that pick Politics as a way not to work for a living.

What I did at the onset...
I did not trust fauci nor the woman who was there in the beginning .. I put the name in research and found he has led a damaging life and has no love for life nor freedoms. doctors on Cowboy Logic on America’s Voice, during the early stages of scaring the public... knew fauci in the 90s and said he had a goal to kill people and that he should be held for mass murder. Doctors do not go public and make charges like this.. they can lose it all for lying.
Why is he still free out there?

Fauci did tell Trump there was going to be a pandemic in 2019 and then there was one. Trump should have arrested him on the spot and had him executed. This would have saved a lot of people’s lives.

Trump made Pence the Covid Czar. Pence deferred to Fauci.

I think hindsight is 20/20.

And that Trump is a man who learns from his mistakes.

I love that about him.

God help Deep State.

Massie is my favorite Congressman, but I don’t really care what he has to say about this now. I’m more interested in what he was saying in March and April of 2020.

Fauci and the Covid response are massive weak spots for Trump. To his credit, DeSantis has admitted he was wrong. Trump never has.

Who cares? One of Trump’s issues is that he cares too much about the opinions of people who hate him.

Imagine if Trump did fire him. The MSM and RATs would be outraged and call for his impeachment. Again.

So what? They invented other things to impeach him for anyway.

The civil service protection argument is nonsense too… he could have booted Fauci and Brix… they might have still gotten their salaries but not their 8-Figure Bonuses for Operation Warp Speed vaccines.
