The best song of 78, followed by "Black Betty", which I'm surprised has not been canceled yet.
As an aside who was the female singer on that song, she is never mentioned in the credits.

Not on my play list. To each his own.

On tour and in the video: Karla DeVito

Additional clarification: In the video, Karla DeVito is lip-syncing to Ellen Foley.

They shouldn’t have fooled Phil Rizzuto into his contribution.

I enjoyed the Patti Russo years with him, as well. She had a great stage presence and powerful voice.

"They shouldn’t have fooled Phil Rizzuto into his contribution." Saw an interview with Meatloaf some years ago. He said Phil Rizzuto knew exactly what his narration was going to be used for, but he denied it publicly in order to maintain his wholesome, family-friendly image.

“Meat Loaf - Paradise By The Dashboard Light”
Um... I don’t eat in my car. Four kids cured me of that.
I remember the meatloaf thing. There were few “hip and cool” musicals in the early seventies that caught the ear of people at my high school, mostly the theatrical and music folks. I was into a garage band but not necessarily into meatloaf and as the ‘70s progressed... meatloaf seem to be doing okay. I am not that familiar with meatloaf but in a Andrew Lloyd Webber sort of way he made a mark on Broadway and several other places. I think his music probably holds up but I’ve never purchased any.

Even crazier: She was replaced by Markie Post as the public defender on Night Court. Yup! Those early episodes before people discovered Night Court after watching The Cosby Show? That’s Ms. Paradise!
