I had a 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe with a manual 5 speed, what a great car. Unfortunately at 200,000 miles I couldn't trust it anymore to make my weekly 200 mile 1 way trip to Ft Campbell. Almost wish I still had it.

1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe 5-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $13,250 on June 28, 2022 (Lot #77,316) | Bring a Trailer

Those turbo T-Birds were super cool back in the late 80’s, had a bud at the time that had a new one.
Having stick must of made it a real fun car to drive.
Girls at the time were really impressed by both my Z’s and Supra turbo, doubly impressed watching me shift those things.
Upped my cool factor by 10..
Good times

Always wondered why there was never a V8 version of either that T-bird or the subsequent version.
