Before retirement never too far from a titanium spork with my name engraved on it.
I have broken the tip off too many good knives using them for a Philips screwdriver. Tried leatherman and others too heavy/clunky.

Have a seat in the Hot Tub-Time Machine.
Lets’s g back maybe 60 years.
I was a wee Lad of 7 y/o.
My denim pockets often had a rabbits foot on a key chain.
Rubber Bands for my collection.
Granite or quartz rocks.
One dull penknife that folds up.
Detroit Tigers Baseball Cards.
Leatherman Skeletool in right front, replaceable blade knife in left. Handkerchief in back.
I’ve carried a Spartan for many years now. The can opener/small screwdriver blade works for a lot of Philips screws if you don’t have to use too much force.
My own pocket stuff: Victorinox Spartan, Bic lighter, nail clippers, keyring with 6 keys and a Streamlight Nano, bandana, wallet. No cell phone unless specifically needed. I also wear a Leatherman original model on my belt. Before I retired I’d carry pen, pencil, and notebook.
Swiss Army pocket knife, Czech pipe tool, lighter. One ring for car keys and fobs, one for other keys. Wallet and comb. Nothing really interesting such as what Huck Finn and his pals carried.
Victorinox Swiss Army Knife, in my wallet I had a Southern Ice Scraper (but I broke it this morning), comb, 9 mm and spare magazines, Nitroglycerin spray, smart phone.
Leatherman, flashlight, the usual keys/wallet/phone, S&W642PC
Kershaw blur in one pocket benchmade emissary in other, bic lighter, AirPods, glasses cloth , eos single aaa flashlight and usually about 20-40$ cash
Sig p365xl and or ruger lcp in waistband, one or two extra sig mags in carrier on belt, extra mag for lcp in pocket is carrying that
Ideally:
Rosary
Comb
Wallet
Flash Drive
Keys
Sanford .2 mm Microball pen
Nothing in my pockets.
However, the stuff hanging on the snap on my belt loop is another story.
/gundog stabby ping
.38 snub nose.
Well, I certainly dont want to share the secret of all of the double naught doodads carried by a super manly high speed low drag operator like myself but I will tell you about something that Ive started doing as a distraction for anyone watching....(Yeah, thats it)...
Did you ever consider a compact? No, not that one...
Ya, OK. Its that one.
In this discussion there is always talk of what you use as a container to carry all these things. The Altoid tin seems to have become sort of a standard in how much can you carry in a fixed container.
I got to thinking that I didnt like all those disparate things crammed together and to tell the truth I cant decide on just a handful of things or am too lazy to change daily the items in it.
I looked around for small pocket containers and one day MrsMaw was chucking out a makeup compact. This wasnt the little round mirror one. This one was bigger and had compartments.
I asked her to give me the empties before she chucked them in the future and have used them to make a kit of pocket modules for different things. There is one that that I made into a tiny tackle box because it had a compartment that had a bunch of holes that I put live bait I pick up along the way and can still put back in my pocket without crushing or killing the bait. There is a first aid one, I have another with small tools, and a number of modules Ive put together.
I keep them in my car and change what is in my pocket to whichever 2 or 3 are best for that day.
