I agree about the preview, and it works just fine if I’m on the computer.
The phone is another story. I try not to use the phone for posting in a forum but sometimes I do.
My computer never changes what I write. The auto correct on my phone does.
And you know that the edit I am talking about is a way to change something after the fact, right? I have posted from my phone a few times and when I read it the next day on the computer, I see what I messed up even after previewing. If you can’t see it, you can’t see it. THAT edit button would be nice.

Grammar...well, I wouldn’t expect Cambridge English, people type the way they talk. In fact I don’t really mind “ain’t, y’all and all-y’all”. After all, most of us talk Mercun...not “The King’s English”.
Pretty sure there's a way to turn off auto-correct.
