Sounds like Paul Pelosi.
It doesn’t say that they got the guy’s tag, but surely they did. They can at least get him for hit and run.
Why does the article assume that the “male driver” was intoxicated in the first place?
Union employees at their best.
“The military family quickly realized the driver, a male in his 70s, was intoxicated. Purciful says that the ‘first thing’ a bus driver on the scene told her was that the man ‘smells like alcohol’ and was ‘refusing to get out of the car.’”
BABYLON B................UH, NO.....................
“Why does the article assume that the “male driver” was intoxicated in the first place?”
Probably because he stunk of alcohol, was falling down drunk and admitted to drinking ...
Comes to mind.
Austin is a Far Left âÂÂDefund the Policeâ city in decline.
They probably voted Democrat and had an ACAB placard in their window. Whoops, vote better next time or if you are GOP, move out of Austin.
You can cut down a forest in an afternoon. But, it takes decades to regrow one.
Destroy a good police force, and it will take decades to rebuild it’s competence and moral.
Apparently he didn’t leave the scene. How was he “standing” if he stayed in his car? He couldn’t have been very drunk if he was sober after just 2.5 hours.
Because in another article the perp told the vics that he, the perp, had been downing booze at a local bar.
In vino veritas, I guess.
Pity they didn’t capture the admission on their cell phones.
Legal sober isn’t stone cold sober.
If he refused to get out of the car, how could he be there “Standing” and smiling at her when she called him a drunk.
I see. I missed that he passed the sobriety test when they had arrived. Check your breathalyzer officers. Need a new battery?
Maybe it was after the cops came that he got out to perform the sobriety tests. I still don’t get that he passed them. Lazy cops?
You got what you voted for, Austin. Keeping it weird.
Kind of a dead giveaway, isn’t it? 😆😊
“This is some kind of blow to us [the Russian authorities] that our leader is supposedly an international criminal,” a source in parliament said.
***********************************************************
The above statement is typical Russian arrogance going back at least 100 years. The statement uses the word “supposedly” Putin is an international criminal”.
“Supposedly”???.....these Russian “authorities” made no known effort to discourage their leader from invading another country with a couple hundred thousand soldiers, killing countless women, children and old people, blowing up hundreds of buildings, raping, murdering, unleashing convicts and causing the deaths and injuries to tens of thousands of people on both sides.
Then the arrogant, mindless bastards use the word “supposedly”? The US needs to use the same rope on Putin that they used on Hussein.
