Jaw-dropping video captured a ginormous alligator sauntering through an upscale Florida community to the horror of residents.
WINK meteorologist Matt Devitt posted footage on Facebook of the “big boy” waddling across the road at the Forest Glen Golf & Country Club in Naples late last week.
“Dios mio!” a woman is heard saying in Spanish – meaning “My God!”
“Is it really here? It’s gigantic!” another woman cries out about the 10-foot-long roving reptile that turned the neighborhood into a scene out of “Jurassic Park.”
The scaly jaywalker, which apparently arrived from a nearby river, took all the attention in stride as it straddled the manicured lawns of the gated community.

Damn the gators, what lurks in the St. Augustine grass will flat out kill you.

St. Augustine grass.......the bane of my existence 1969.......disgusting infernal weed it is.
10 foot is big.......but they certainly can and do get bigger.
They are quick but for only short distances.......thank God he gave them such short legs. 😁

Yep, pretty cool watching a lightning show at night from a distance.......being right underneath one however......is a different story.
Pretty sure that what’s jaw dropping to those at the Post is just another day in Florida to Floridians.
Need to hire a several thousand of these for the Border Patrol Service and ICE...
Start by releasing them in all major cities to make sure it’s a clean flush...

One recently waddled up a small dog, but opted for the other end of the leash and drowned a woman!

You forgot the pythons!
My ship’s home port was Mayport, when I was there in 1960-62.
In 1976, wife and I took a driving trip to FL and I drove some back roads to give her a taste of the FL area. One road had what looked like a log across the 2-lane road, so I stopped.
Closer look showed us it was a python that was warming on the road. It stretched from one side of the road to the other side and the girth was the size of a medium cantaloupe! I backed up and then took a running start and drove over that speed bump.
