I learned that I had been ‘infested’ with a form of candida - strain unknown - for over 30 years. It was obviously not life-threatening, but unquestionably a threat to longevity. It took 2 years to eradicate/heal, a process labeled ‘difficult’ being a tremendous understatement.

People undergoing very aggressive treatment for leukemia or lymphoma, bone marrow transplants, or have active AIDS are most vulnerable.
