I used to be a Methodist. No more.
It is a kind of fraternity/sorority for grown-ups. A community service club that isn't even Bible-based.
My church voted last night to vote on disaffiliating from the UMC (yes, we have to vote to have a vote, and then vote on whether to disaffiliate). The first vote was 37-1. Just praying the actual vote is that lopsided.
Went to the Methodist church for years and NEVER heard the Gospel. It took my wife to get me to go to a different church before I was saved.
(What is amazing is how many Methodists believe that homosexuality is no longer a sin.)
And others, across many denominations, siding with the godless.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12
King James Version
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Homosexuality?
For over 50 years they haven’t even believed fornication is a sin.
They define love as acceptance of somebody fulfilling their personal desires. They have rejected the idea of natural law, although God Himself has not rejected natural law and those who have rejected natural will find this out for themselves.
Not an accident then that GW Bush was a Methodist?
