Those that think republicans don’t do like the democrats and don’t care whether they get caught are living in very closed space.

I equate it to UFO’s. To think we are so special that we are the only world, with all the millions of planets out there, to have what we consider an intelligent life form is a joke. To consider the republicans don’t do things that cross the lines of the law that separates good and evil is just being emptyheaded at best, and underhanded going down the chain to the lowest of politicians, unsanctioned (or should be).

And some don’t care what they violate. Do the names Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Liz Warren, and Lisa Murkowski ring a bell. They qualify.

Unless the candidate is Mike Pence. I’d rather sit at home on election day than vote for Benedict Pence.

You’ll find a cult of personality has formed around Trump as log as you understand that you’re good. Some of us who supported Trump and Trump candidates in he past are on the hunt for a candidate who puts the America First agenda over their ego and can beat Trump and Biden.

Trump showed who he was with self sabotage in 2020 and taking 90 cents of every dollar he supposedly raised in other candidates names in 2022.

I am not inspired by and don’t trust DeSantis. He reminds me of John Edwards somehow and that’s not a good thing.

I supported Rudy Giuliani here in 2007, and I didn’t get axed - although many did.

If you post with your reasons, you won’t get kicked off (I don’t think).

You need to support the Lindsay Graham, Jeff Sessions, Bill Barr, Christopher Wray, pro jab wing of the party.

Yeah, and be sure to have your opus prepared beforehand so you can post it RIGHT BEFORE you actually get banned or suspended. ‘cause then it’s too late!

True. The “rules” are made up along the way, usually accompanied with a lot of abuse.

Hogan’s said he isn’t running. There’s really no reason for anybody here to support him and really no reason for him to run.

I wouldn’t support Pence or Haley either, but don’t join in the abuse.

Support/attack anyone you like until there is a nominee. Then support the nominee no matter what.

Unless the nominee is Mitt Romney and the year is 2012. Then supporting the nominee after the convention and before donations to FR dropped precipitously (causing the site owner to do a 180°) could get you banned.

Current election rules are like Calvin Ball.

crossed with Whack-a-Mole.

You can say whatever you want within the parameters of :
“Please:NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts”

Although, if you post something spectacularly stupid, as defined by others, you will be called any number of denigrating slurs and beaten with bamboo sticks. And some level of profanity as warranted. / SARCASM

I love this place. My Donation is to be next month.

No, you must support the perfect candidate 100% of the time.

I bet you were one of the mask-wearing people in front of Trump Tower yesterday.

And by the way your user name appears to be a simple “register in lots of places” moniker with no meaning. Most people who come here have strong beliefs. Usually their username reflect SOMETHING about them.

You won’t last long here, troll.

I got axed for (reluctantly) supporting Romney after the GOP Convention and his nomination in 2012. There were weeks of civil war here over that one and many nukings of long-standing accounts.

In other words, it’s a typical campaign. It’s political BS, it’s part of the process, deal with it.

The OP asked for the rules.

Someone said supporting the nominee was within the rules.

I gave a notable exception.

What’s your point?
