The Russian invasion of 2022 began with a multi-pronged winter invasion of Ukrainian territory. After a series of reverses in late 2022, the Russian effort to reclaim the initiative in Ukraine seems to have begun...with another multi-pronged winter offensive.
In this episode, I look at the way that offensive has played out, what observations and lessons might come out of the last three months, and what that may mean for the war to come.
Did I miss all of that? What code name did the Russian's use for this offensive, Operation это в еще? (is it in yet?)
Chins up Putin Fanbois. You just keep waiting, like Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin. One day the mighty Russian Army of your fervid dreams will appear, and replace the motley collection of sad sacks and felons manning the line now.
This is the first "military offensive" I have ever seen where the invading force tries not to kill anyone if they don't have to, and the defending force tries to draw fire to keep a war narrative alive
You BIDEN BOYS will be thrilled to get Hunter back to work in there pilfering gas for "the big guy" your idol
But but but...russia is encircling Bakhmut!
I thought the Putin Fanboi narrative was that the Ukes were being slaughtered wholesale at Bakhmut and Vuhledar? When did that change to "Putin is trying to not kill Ukes, and they are trying to get themselves killed, to prolong the narrative?"
Good luck on selling that.
You might want to mix a little video evidence, cherry picked as I am sure it is, from Reddit's 𝕮𝖔𝖒𝖇𝖆𝖙 𝕱𝖔𝖗𝖚𝖒, a "forum for combat footage and photos from historical to ongoing wars."
Here is VERY NSFW, or anywhere else, video of Wagner troops, who, in fairness to you, are certainly not inflicting casualties on the Ukes. Part 2 of the Wagner assault stopped by artillery fire from 54th brigade K-2 battalion
What code name did the Russian’s use for this offensive?

Not generally a good sign when observers can't tell if you've launched an offensive or not.
I am sure all the young Uke boys forced to go to Bahkmut to die appreciate your clever rye humor, so sad, didn’t need to happen, but certainly the weapons industry benefits.
here we are, is rye honor???
it’s a logistics video...
das wur ah git fer not wutchn, me so solly
ok, I take it back, it’s BS, Ukraine losses are huge, no comparison.
