If you want to support the guy who betrayed us at the mere mention of a virus, abandoned us at the drop of a false flag, and dishonored our vote for him when he vacated the White House on 1/20/21, go right ahead. I don't trust him any more.

States also need to respect the Constitution, and not usurp the powers that were granted to the federal government or the citizens themselves. Oh, such as limit the people's second amendment rights, or any of the rights allotted to the citizens by the constitution, as well as, to the powers of the federal government itself, as defined by the constitution.
But don't believe your belief, because Donald John Trump is the only president that has actually stood up for the people & the constitution. He's a fighter and we need a fighter who is a strong leader. He's the only one, and that's the fact.
If you will notice, DeSantis is only spouting the same ideas as Trump, because he knows there is a large contingency that stick with Trump. He also knows there is a smaller contingency that are willing to abandon Trump as well, as long as they sound like Trump & are MAGA as well. But in reality, he is a weaker version of Trump, and in my humble opinion is a Trojan Horse who is working with the GOPe to destroy Trump, as well as, the MAGA movement.
In other words, you can't shift to local elections, and ignore the national elections. They both affect the quality of life & the freedoms of the citizens.
You are correct, you don't want to hope remedies come from government, but rather come from the citizens. Which means citizens must start picking the best. We know what Trump is, and others are gambles, and gambles usually do not payoff, but rather defeat the gambler.
Furthermore, everyone should start rejecting the mainstream news organizations, because not a one of them care about us. We are only the necessity for a profit. They are supposed to be a guard against tyrannical leaders. Do you see them doing their part for this nation or her citizens? Don't reward them, if you honestly believe the answer is no.
