When Obama was 'President' he gave a half a billion dollars to startup energy company Solyndra.
They created the company, cleared a location, constructed a building, installed factory equipment, purchased inventory, hired workers, and went bankrupt- all within one year.
Within 2 days of the bankruptcy announcement, the FBI swooped in and grabbed all the financial records.
Instead of returning inventory to suppliers, they bulldozed it.
And then it disappeared from history. No financial accounting was ever made, no Congressional hearings, no one was investigated... It all went down the memory hole.
Ballot factories need gelt.
The money ended up in DEMOCRATS BANK ACCOUNTS!!

It seems our government is extremely efficient at covering up malfeasance and the theft of taxpayer’s money!

It went the same place as all the stories of the Nazi-infestation of the Ukrainian government - once the Democrats decide that a particular news topic works against them, they have the media (and FBI, in this case) SPIKE IT. It’s like it never happened, and if it wasn’t for the Internet, people also would forget it ever happened.

Solyndra filed for bankruptcy in September 2011. At that time the House of Representatives was controlled by the Republican Party with a 242 to 193 majority under the leadership of Speaker John Boehner of Ohio. Republicans had swept to power in the 2010 election, thanks to the efforts of the populist Tea Party movement and the general dissatisfaction with many of the policies of Democrat President Barack Obama.
Under the Constitution appropriations and tax bills must originate in the House of Representatives so the Republicans had control of spending and taxation in 2021, plus the House had oversight subpoena power. The House spent 18 months investigating Solyndra. The hearings were hampered by difficulty getting documents from the administration, testimony from bureaucrats, and the mainstream press supporting the Democrat defense there was no improper action by the administration. A four year Department of Energy investigation determined Solyndra misrepresented facts and omitted key information in getting the $535 million government loan. No one was prosecuted.
