Yes, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is running to be the Republican nominee for president. He just hasn’t made it official yet. Most political observers expect him to run and the general public is becoming interested in finding out who he is and what he offers. Case in point, the book sales for his memoir, “The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Survival,” outsold first week sales of books written by Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama.
Even the Washington Post had to admit that DeSantis is running, stating the obvious, and reporting he is beginning to staff up in early primary states. Readers are curious to see what DeSantis has to say. His book explains his success in governing Florida. Make America Florida could be a campaign theme.

Ann Archy, I am all about DeSantis in his time... which is next time...if he wants to make the best argument for being a back up to Trump then he needs to stay out of it until and unless something happens to Trump.

Ann Archy, his name is out there... he could NUT the demons in the establishment if he just came out and endorsed Trump. If anything happened to Trump... he would be the man without question. Now... 3D chess... being what it is he can go through a struggle session if he thinks it will help him and the country in the long run. I just don’t see it as being effective towards the goal of restoring a free republic.

Everyone has flaws and everyone makes mistakes, me more than most I suspect. But we are where we are. Trump is the only one who is poised to take on and take out the demons who are hell bent on destroying this country.
Save Ron for 2028... let him mature a bit, he is solid... but he still has young kids and they can get to him. Trump has stood in the phalanx and didn’t flinch. He was taken out in coup... and until we restore the republic and have accountability for those who deceived with grave for those deceived we need a warrior... Trump is that warrior.
Now if Ron DeSantis wants to come out and say publicly that the 2020 and 2022 elections were rigged and that the vaccines are killing people then... I am listening...
