Just a week ago the same chemicals were reported in TP: "‘Forever chemicals’ in your toilet paper might give you cancer: study.

The average American uses 141 rolls of TP per year. That is 4.6 million tons of the stuff flushed into the USA sewer system every year. Then the solids get put onto farm fields.

15-20yrs ago, the Dept of Ag tried that on selected farms fields in Southern York Cty (PA), but it was a failure. The corn and soybeans were stunted and disfigured, entire crops lost, so it was ended as an alternative to sewage plants. Pig poop slurry is the preferred method around here and over in Lancaster Cty.

That's a fresh roll every 2-3 days. Not a chance. Maybe a tenth of that.

Granted, women use a lot more than men. Still.... Where did that statistic come from?
