I spent most of my career working in Center City Philly. I’ve moved well out of the area and hope to never return for any reason.As did I. Still miss the old days and many of the museums and institutions; but the old days are gone forever.

Left the keys in the ignition and the car running. No, baby. I turn everything off, lock the car and hold my keys and pepper spray when I get out to pump gas, even in relatively safe suburbs. Got my training where I used to live — in a big city.

If you live. Granted the police seem to have attended the “Stormtrooper five minute course on how to shoot straight” but they make up for it by the amount of bullets they can pump in your direction.
