I keep a close eye on my accounts with online banking. Today I see a notice that reads: "IF YOU SEE AN INCORRECT OR MISSING TRANSACTIONS, THIS MAY BE DUE TO A TECHNICAL ISSUE AND WE APOLOGIZE. YOUR ACCOUNTS CONTINUE TO BE SECURE AND WE'RE WORKING QUICKLY ON A RESOLUTION".
You cannot trust their accounting.
Good idea to save screenshots in case money disappears.
That is interesting.
Deposits are FDIC insured, but quirky days mean you can’t access cash for some period of time.
It takes months for the FDIC to take over and dish out depositors’ monies.
Given Wells Fargo’s recent history of illegal banking practices and general wokeness it’s a good idea to not use them. Find a nice medium sized, conservatively run credit union. If you have lots of excess cash that you do not feel like investing in the very short term, say less than the term of short-term CD, put that money in a brokerage account of a conservative brokerage house. That is also very safe. Diversify where your money is and across investment products.
Ok. This is more interesting. A friend just told me that this happened with Bank of America too!
I can see through the black bars.
in Ukraine.
I’ve got the same message. Interesting that Silicon Vally Bank and Republic Bank are having serious problems today. Might be related?
This is why I constantly check my online balance with the Bank of America app at least twice a day.
Saw that when I went on line this morning . All was the same as yesterday.
Thread up right now regarding banks in CA.
I saw that message today, too. Everything looked OK, but the “search” function was not working.
Strange if other banks are having the same problem...
Do you folks all work for the same outfit?
Just saw this:
Some people say their deposits are missing:
Why does anyone still use them? Multiple reasons have peen published not to trust them.
