I was about to be skeptical; We don’t see the LEO break the window, only clear the broken window of shards. I could picture an LEO clearing the window of potentially lethal shards. But when the protest leader shouts “DO NOT go in there,” and the LEO starts a physical confrontation???

I have always been confused by the video of ‘protestors’ breaking a window to gain entry while the door a few feet away is open! Theatre?

The window material appears to be flexible—some kind of relatively thin security material, probably polycarbonate—not glass. Difficult to break, takes real effort. Does not form shards. No need to remove for “safety.”
