All this drama for a traffic stop?
1) Why did the cops pull the kid over? Did the kid have reason to distrust the cops? Was there a previous history?
2) The driver was belligerent from the get go. The cop was trying to reason with him.
3) It seems both sides panicked when the car door was open. The driver would not have been shot if he had just voluntarily got out. Maybe he was afraid the cops were going to beat him up as has happened so much lately with other citizens.
4) Currently, law enforcement have a real public relations problem, starting at the top with the corrupt FBI. Few people trust the police for good reason.

I am terrified about cops pulling my adult kids over. One of my kids, my daughter, doesn’t have current registration on her car and I have been bugging her about it and even offered to pay for it. Drives me crazy.
Maybe because he had a fake license plate? Just a guess.
I read his mom pulled the same shit a year ago... stupidity runs in the family I guess.
Had he complied none of this would have happened. And what the officer was asking for was not unreasonable. If you’re going to let no registration or expired registrations go without any consequences where does this stop? No license, no insurance, speeding, reckless driving? If you get hit and permanently disabled by an uninsured motorist who was let go by police because they didn’t want to enforce the law and the person that hits you says sorry I can pay you $50 a month you would be slightly pissed at the police and the jerk who was driving without insurance or a license.
The sovereign citizen nonsense is just as crazy as the we hate all cops attitude of BLM and even some FR cop haters. All the cops fired because they heard gun. It’s easy to Monday morning quarterback and say well only one should have fired, how are the other four officers supposed to know who’s the one whose supposed to fire?
The victim dictated the outcome of this entire event, had he complied he might have got a ticket, at the very worse, car towed, instead he rolled out the attitude immediately, he’s dead because he was stupid.
