All this drama for a traffic stop?
1) Why did the cops pull the kid over? Did the kid have reason to distrust the cops? Was there a previous history?
2) The driver was belligerent from the get go. The cop was trying to reason with him.
3) It seems both sides panicked when the car door was open. The driver would not have been shot if he had just voluntarily got out. Maybe he was afraid the cops were going to beat him up as has happened so much lately with other citizens.
4) Currently, law enforcement have a real public relations problem, starting at the top with the corrupt FBI. Few people trust the police for good reason.

I am terrified about cops pulling my adult kids over. One of my kids, my daughter, doesn’t have current registration on her car and I have been bugging her about it and even offered to pay for it. Drives me crazy.
My daughter, about 24 at the time, was a passenger in a truck with a male friend and was totally harassed right when the pandemic hit. Sunday night about 10 pm. 5 cop cars and made both of them leave the truck and walk home or go to jail. Would not give them any reason why they were being harassed. Cuffed them, searched the truck, etc. They found nothing! They were just going back to my daughters office from In and Out Burger. And this is an upper middle class neighborhood in Commifornia. She even mentioned that she knew a few of the cops that were her friends. They weren’t there and said quit name dropping. Made me so mad but the problem is we all live in the same city and if we filed a complaint, I’m sure their harassment would make us move out of the city. I have NO faith in the police any more.
My opinion is when the government orders the cops to disarm Americans 90% of them will jump at the chance.
