Tucker Carlson sat down with a former Capitol Police officer who was ignored by the House Jan. 6 Select Committee despite the pivotal role he had that day.
Tarik Johnson, a 22-year veteran on the Capitol Hill force, was tasked with securing the certification of the 2020 presidential election.
"My voice is one of the first ones you hear on the audio transmission, so I did expect to get an interview sometime, but it didn't happen." Johnson told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" about the House Select Committee in an interview aired Tuesday. "I guess the focus was on Donald Trump."
Despite pleas for help on Jan. 6, Johnson said he did not hear anything, not even from Capitol Police chief assistant Yogananda Pittman, who allegedly kept vital information about the protests from him. The federal intel and law enforcement agencies knew about the warnings of a massive disturbance at the Capitol on Jan. 6, Carlson said, but the frontline officers on duty that day did not know.

However, his career came to a screeching halt after he was spotted outside the Capitol wearing a Make America Great Again hat, which received national attention.
Johnson, a Biden voter, said a Trump supporter placed the MAGA hat on his head. He decided to keep wearing it for self-preservation as he navigated the pro-Trump crowd outside. Johnson was put on an indefinite suspension for doing so and later resigned and lost his pension.
"I couldn't say what would have happened walking through that crowd without it," Johnson said.
Yogananda Pittman went on to be elevated by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to be acting chief of Capitol Police. She later took a post as head of security at the University of California Berkeley, right outside of Pelosi's congressional district.

I just watched that a short while ago and nothing cut in at that time.

Typically, a new trial is the remedy for the defendant who has potentially favorable evidence withheld by the prosecution.
1. His videos have demonstrated that on some occasions not all those who entered the capital, especially the rotunda, were violent or destructive but were merely observing the building as though they were tourists.
Note: videos of this nature showing passive, nonviolent citizens in the capital building were already available and had been shown in the media.
2. The iconic "insurrectionist," Chewbacca, was escorted about the capital and apparently abetted and encouraged by uniformed police who made no attempt to impede him and in fact in at least one instance attempted to open a door for him, all with the appearance of leading him on a tour of the facility.
Note: videos of the Chewbacca man had already been made available to the public showing him peacefully in the Senate chamber in discourse with a security guard.
3. That the media (apparently CNN) misled viewers by selectively editing the government videos into believing that Sen. Hawley alone fled in fear from a mob when in fact the senator was only one of many senators induced to leave at the behest of the police and he was, in fact, the last to go. Carlson demonstrated that CNN lied or at least misrepresented Sen. Hawley's actions.
Note: the essential fact that Senator Hawley left in a hurry is in no way altered or challenged by Carlson's video, he merely establishes that CNN is up to its old tricks by making it appear that he was alone in fleeing.
4. Carlson asserted that the videos revealed that Ray Epps lied about the his time of departure from the scene by 30 minutes.
Note: how significant is this? Carlson's video does not otherwise incriminate Epps as an enabler of the mob or as an undercover FBI agent. That videos showing apps exhortations to the mob to enter the capital were already freely available.
5. Officer Brian Sicknick was shown to be apparently healthy wearing a helmet to protect his head at a time subsequent to the alleged attack that allegedly killed him.
Note: the narrative that Brian Sicknick was was killed by being struck with a fire extinguisher had long been debunked and available in the media.
7. Carlson asserted that this video had not been made available to criminally charged insurrectionists, contrary to their constitutional right to be afforded evidence in exoneration or mitigation of guilt.
Note: this fact had been well reported.
8. Carlson asserted his conclusion that the bulk of the people entering the capital were peaceful, unarmed (apart from flagpoles) who were not "insurrectionist" and therefore there was no insurrection, no attempted coup.
Note: apart from Carlson's personal conclusion, it was well reported that no insurrectionist was accused of possessing a firearm or other weapon and in fact no, or at most one, person was charged with "insurrection," facts already known.
9. An interview was presented of a police officer who was suspended for wearing a MAGA hat who complained that he failed to receive guidance from his superior officer when he requested it because the capital had been breached by 100 or more protesters.
Note: it was already well established that the police force was inadequate and the response undoubtedly unprofessional, the question has and remains who is responsible and why was the National Guard not put in place? A mid-level police officer who failed to respond to pleas for help is hardly a person whose failings will undo the January 6 narrative.
Having reviewed the material to this extent, I ask what is so consequential? Why are the Democrats so exercised? Why is Mitch McConnell and Senator Mitt Romney criticizing the release of these tapes? Mitch McConnell perhaps because he was either complicit or negligent in failing to summon the National Guard and Mitt Romney because he is Mitt Romney. Why are the Democrats squealing?
I conclude there is nothing earthshaking about what we are watching up to this point. Certainly there is not much new that would alter the course of history or the narrative of January 6.
Keep in mind the 2020 election in which Biden would not venture out of his basement, even as he was the object of allegations of profound corruption being raised from his son' s laptop, which was known to many Americans and yet he officially received 85 million votes and won the election. Keep in mind further that John Fetterman was elected to the Pennsylvania Senate in 2022 when anyone with a television set would know that man could not speak.
We are in a brand-new world in which blatant proof of Democrat perfidy and disqualification for office has no apparent effect, why is the release of these tapes suddenly so consequential in this environment?

What Tucker’s commentary HAS accomplished is three major things: 1 - it brought out crazed hysteria on the part of Schumer and his fellow travelers, it was obvious he struck a cord because he was screaming and virtually all of what Schumer, Kinzinger and the other leftists said were complete falsehoods; 2 - it once more exposed McConnell, Thune, Romney, Tillis and other supposed Rs in the Senate for the Dem Lites that they really are: and 3) it spotlighted public liars, like the “AG” Garland who baldfacedly asserted in public yesterday that five Capitol police were killed on THAT day when not a single one was. How this unashamed liar can be the chief law enforcement official of the US is beyond me!

Tucker has a huge audience. He reaches enormous numbers of people who have had no idea all the facts you show in your post existed.
What exactly is it that Tucker has proved that is so consequential?
The evidence was concentrated and not put out in forgettable snippets soon forgotten. It was put out by a consequential reporter and not during the last minute of a fifteen minute newscast. It was disseminated to an interested audience.

I think most (not all, but a large number ) of people are totally missing what happened ..and why this happened on jan 6. I am going to try my best to outline the events that day…blast past the commonly held assumptions and get right down to the core corruption.
I will present this as a series of questions and answers.
q1: how do you prevent congress from delaying the certification of state electoral votes?
a: it requires a crisis. A crisis that creates an “emergency”…An “emergency” that invokes special house rules. facts: remember, carefully…focus please…remember…just moments..literally 3 minutes before two representatives issued a vote for motions to suspend the certification the House members were “informed” by capitol police and other “agents” that a protest was about to breach the chambers. It was at this time that key people: pence, pelosi, schumer, mcconnell can be seen being walked out and escorted from the chamber. This effectively halted the Entire Chamber Process.
q2: why was it necessary to halt the chamber process
a2: the crisis was created to eliminate the motion challenges to halt the certification and to begin voting to look into voting irregularities and fraud facts: the two motions were completely legal and constitutional under at least two constitutionally recognized procedures…procedures that would REQUIRE the house to pause the certification and then vote to determine whether the motions of suspend could move forward.
q3: what was so important to refuse this motion and the subsequent votes to suspend the electoral certification
a3: it was important to remove that process entirely and continue the fraud and certify the fraud with no detractors on record. This effectively gives no standing for a scotus ruling appeal! understand this. If those two motions, even just one had successfully been voted EVEN IF THE MOTIONS were DENIED IN VOTE, this gives those who presented them with STANDING FOR A CONSTITUTIONAL LEGAL ARGUMENT BEFORE SCOTUS. Understand this.
q4: could this have been done some other way other than creating a crisis/protest?
a4: unlikely….In order to prevent those two motions, requires that speaker of the house, minority leaders, and the president of the congress (vice president of the united states: pence), to NOT BE PRESENT IN THE CHAMBERS. Once the capitol police and other “law enforcements agents” informed the speaker and these three other individuals, pelosi UNILATERALLY UNDER EMERGENCY RULES, suspended the business of the congress. This protest was necessary ..the crisis was created..because there is no other way to suspend the business of certification UNILATERALLY. By creating a crisis…invokes emergency procedures. No other circumstances other than war or mass simultaneous explosive diaahrea can create such unilateral speaker delivered suspension of the certification.
q5: Why did the motions, once that the speaker RECONVENED congress, move forward back again to the floor for votes? Why were members dissallowed to even consider putting forward ANY motions to the floor in when the chamber business was reopened?
a5: the speaker initiated the NEW sessions under special emergency rules. These rules abandon and make it clear that the ONLY purpose of the new session was to EXPEDITE the certification and dismiss all prior regular session procedural rules. This is why those two motions to table votes to consider a debate and pause to the certifications of state vote electors never happened later that evening when the house business was reconvened!
q6: Other than new rules, emergency rules, what other peculiar things occurred when the speaker reconvened?
a6: members were allowed to “vote” in proxy…remotely…not being present…(you can use your imagination about what conditions were placed on ALL members during this time to prevent anyone from “getting out of line”. Also clearly, it was at THIS NEW SESSION that VP Pence, President of Congress, would also have no ability to even consider pausing the electoral certification…because there was no motions of disagreements on the matter. So in a technical legal claim, he is correct that he had no constitutional authority to address any issues of fraud or doubts about electoral irregularities. But this completely dismisses the FACT that congress created rules in this crisis/emergency that never allowed them to be floored! understand what happened in jan 6…don’t get hung up on viking impostors, stolen pelosi computers, podium heists, and complicit capitol police. understand the process and what happened and what WAS NOT ALLOWED TO HAPPEN. this was a coup….it was a very organized and carefully planned coup. VP Pence without a doubt as well as most members of the house were quite aware of how the certification was going to be MANAGED. it would require new rules to prevent the debate clause from occurring! new rules that ONLY AN EMERGENCY CRISIS COULD CREATE! so they created an emergency. noting: I understand why many people have great interest in debunking the j6 event…I get that. I think it is important to dissect and examine the events of that day. but please…step back and understand WHY these things happened…examine the chain of events in congress…why those two motions that would have at least paused the certification THAT WOULD GIVE VP PENCE THE CONSTITUTIONALLY RECOGNIZED POWER TO MOVE TO SUSPEND THE ELECTORAL CERTIFICATION AND THEN EXAMINE THE IRREGULARITIES AND CLAIMS OF FRAUD! at the very center of this coup stands Pence…the same individual who also spoiled President Trump’s first opportunities in the earliest hours of his Presidency just 4 years prior, when he created and facilitated the removal of LTGEN Flynn. I will not spend much time on this thread explaining why LTGEN Flynn was so important to President Trump and why the IC was so afraid he would have advisory power to the President. That I will leave for another day, another time. But understand this clearly: MIKE PENCE WAS AND IS WORKING FOR THE MOST CORRUPT CRIMINAL TREASONOUS PEOPLE IN GOVERNMENT.
protip: if you really want to get a true understanding of this matter videos of protesters walking in the capitol is not going to address them. Actual video and time line records of events and the specific actions taken by the speaker just moments before TWO MAJOR ELECTORAL ALTERING MOTIONS WERE ABOUT TO BE FLOORED. This crisis was developed just in time with a precise coordination to prevent those two motions to be entered into the chamber record. The two motions do not exist. The emergency powers established in the new session made sure they never could be entered. The emergency powers could never happen without a crisis…

There is the additional fact that Tarik received no reply to his request for directions from the upper echelon when it came to the evacuation of the senators, so he took matters into his own hands and evacuated them without orders from above. This suggests that Pelosi may have been willing to allow the senators to have been injured or worse as part of her J6 plan.
It’s clear to anyone who has been paying attention that this was a government op.

Thanks for the time breaking this down. The bottom line is the left set a narrative for the past 2 years, regarding January 6th and Tucker simply summed up what actually happened in a matter of 45 minutes.
Believe me, my co workers and in laws believed 5 people died that day and Q-anon stormed the capital destroying everything with no help.
It might have been correctly reported over a 2 year span but we all know, once the narrative has been set then their work has been done.
Tucker simply summed this up quickly and destroyed the original lying narrative.
