Eli's Amazing Deals, a new bin store in Salinas, is attracting large crowds of people seeking deep discounts on bulk purchases from major retailers like Amazon and Macy's.

The store operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with prices ranging from $10 on Saturdays when new shipments arrive, to $1 for everything by Thursdays. Shoppers dig deep into the bins to find the best deals.

In addition to bulk purchases, the store also sells unopened Amazon mystery boxes for $60, with the potential to find high-dollar items inside.

The store has gained popularity through social media, with people lining up to get a chance at the deep discounts. The store's business model also helps keep retail returns from heading to landfills, providing an eco-friendly solution for excess inventory.

Eli's Amazing Deals has become a popular shopping destination for people looking for bargains and unique finds. The store's success highlights a growing trend in retail, where consumers are seeking out new ways to save money and reduce waste.

This is not new. Arizona had a store like that. I went once, but then found it went out of business later. No surprise.

They have those here in central Arkansas. Definitely fun to dig around in on dollar day; you never know what you’re gonna find.

I think I’ve found a solution to the buildup of used Amazon boxes and used cat litter at my house.

Sounds exactly like Black Friday (the store franchise, not the day)
My wife goes dumpster diving every Wednesday at Black Friday when everything is $0.50
