The best livers and gizzards I’ve ever had are from a local convenience store
But don’t wait until lunch hour or they’ll be sold out by noon
That’s funny, not a big gizzard fan but the best fried chicken I ever had, besides Strouds in Kansas City Kansas and Moms was a gas station in Van Horn Texas. They had a sign out front that read “Diesel” fried chicken. Of course they meant truckers could fill up and get some good grub. Best fried bird ever, cooked in pressure fryers, delicious.
