The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
Didn’t we just solve this one?
Ooops: I reposted yesterday’s. Need Caffeine. Today’s is below. No irony intended. Regrets.
Correct Cryptogram:
LXY YNX GSHIWPXHYWDK IAJH WHI YNX DXFXD AG XFXUTYNEHL TAS IA JEDD UEKX - PEONWXD QAUIWH
You know the drill.

Solution to previous puzzle (select the yellow text with your cursor to read):
The people who hold that our culture is an oppressive patriarchy, they don't want to admit that the current hierarchy might be predicated on competence. - Jordan Peterson

Thank you! We appreciate all you do!
Didn’t we have this one yesterday?
Well, if those doing most of them complaining have a below-average I.Q. and other issues........
I like your clue….. very nice.
Great Quote…. I like it.
Little side story:
I once danced with the author. Hubby and I had to attend a charity event to represent the company he worked for. PEONWXD QAUIWH, the gentleman he is, danced with each lady there.
Which is why phonics and memorizing times tables needs to be brought back into schools.
No, you’re special;)
I am not a fan of rote learning, but I agree practice makes perfect. I am not sure that memorizing times tables is nearly as understanding how numbers work, understanding the advantages of weighted base (10, if you like) number systems, understanding how language works. I am so glad that the nuns made us diagram sentences.
I do think we have to memorize the basics. After that, it’s more about understanding.
Multiplication tables do not afford insight. Problem solving does. Solve lots or problems, and the multiplication tables will stick. Memorize multiplication tables, and you will forget them the day after the exam.
I disagree.
I memorized the “times” tables and somewhere down the line I figured out what they meant and how they worked...all on my own....prolly when we started to do actual arithmetic problems.
At least that’s the way I remember it, but the 70+ years since may have provided a lot of clouds. ☺
