Paramedics battled for an hour and a half to save Libbey Peverall's life after she suddenly became ill
A family has been left heartbroken after a 'beautiful' young girl collapsed and died suddenly in her dad’s arms, despite his best efforts to try and save her life. Libbey Peverall, who was just 20-years-old, was not known to have any underlying health conditions when she suddenly passed away in traumatic scenes at her family home in West Drayton on February 20.
Libbey who had aspirations of becoming a beautician, was described to MyLondon as loved by all who knew her and her shocking death has devastated her parents and brother. They are now raising money through a GoFundMe to help towards the costs of her funeral, with more than £1,500 donated as of today (February 27).
Speaking to MyLondon, her brother Charlie said: “She was a beautiful girl, she was absolutely stunning. Whatever she wanted my mum and dad would get for her. She wouldn’t say a bad word about anyone and she was always worrying about my mum and dad.”
Sadly, Libbey had suffered severe bullying at her school which left her to be homeschooled from the age of 14. She remained living in fear of her bullies, who still targeted her despite her attempts to distance herself and it led to her developing mental health issues.
Despite this, Libbey had 'everything going for her', and had recently passed her driving test and devoted her time to her dog Lottie. A devoted football fan, she was a supporter of Manchester City but regularly accompanied Charlie to watch Chelsea FC in West London.
While she had suffered no previous medical episodes aside from her mental health, she collapsed last week with the family still awaiting an explanation as to how she died. Charlie said: “She woke up on Monday and my dad said ‘do you want a cup of coffee’, she always had coffee in the morning and she said she’d rather have a cup of tea.
“So he made her a cup of tea and then all of a sudden she said ‘I’ve got a pain in my chest’. She suffers from panic attacks so my dad gave her a brown bag to blow in and basically, she just stood up and then collapsed in my dad’s arms.
“My dad really did try his hardest to help her and he did CPR on her, everything. He tried so hard. Within about five or 10 minutes, ambulances turned up and they tried on her for about an hour and a half with my mum and dad going ‘Please don’t give up on her, please please don’t give up’.”
Charlie received a call a short while later to say that Libbey was suffering a suspected heart attack and was no longer breathing. He jumped in the car and had reached St Albans when his mum told him that she’d sadly passed away.
“I screamed in the car, it hit me so hard,” he said. ”We did everything together, we did football together, and just before Christmas we went to Winter Wonderland together.
“She was my only sibling and everyone says ‘I know how you feel’ but until it happens to someone, which I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, you don’t know how it feels. My mum is in bits, I’m trying to stay strong for her and it feels like I haven’t properly grieved yet. It just feels like she’s on holiday and she’s going to walk through the door soon. For the last two days it's starting to feel like reality a bit. I’m just trying to deny it in a way.”
The family are now awaiting the coroner’s report before they can begin to organise her funeral. Despite their heartbreak, they only have kind works for the London Ambulance Service who worked tirelessly to try and bring Libbey back to life.
“My mum suffered a heart attack just after Libbey was born so they're trying to find out if it’s in the family. They’ve never seen anything like this at the age of 20, it even shocked the paramedics. They really did try their hardest to bring her back, I’ve never known paramedics come up to you and not want to leave, it was unbelievable how supportive they were,” Charlie said.
His family have been left distraught by Libbey’s passing, with her brother adding: “She was loved by so many people, it's unbelievable.”

Smart ass. My little vaxxed grandson collapsed at school a few days ago. He was rushed to hospital and put on a ventilator. Doctors could figure out what was wrong.
An ambulance with a doctor made a 90 min drive to pick up my grandson to bring him to a better hospital.
The doctors were, and I quote, “Baffled” He almost died. The doctors still don’t know what happened, and he has to make an appointment with a specialist.
He almost died and trust me, if he had and I knew where you lived, it would not be pretty
If that’s a photo of the deceased she certainly was a very attractive woman!
Your grandchild is in my prayers
Why even mention her looks?? Strange.
RIP
Exactly!!!
Why does the looks determine their value? Looks has nothing to do with a persons value. Every missing girl or cold case murder that involves a pretty girl gets so much more publicity. Life is so cruel.
Thank you. That was such a nasty, rude comment about somebody who has passed away. The poster is probably a fat, grizzled old toad with an unkempt beard.
Best wishes for your grandson.
But, why be angry at a FR poster instead of the people pushing the Vax and in some cases, forcing it on people?
Yup. Always beautiful and brilliant, the kindest, most caring being that ever walked the earth. I'm starting to get the sense that being a dumb, ugly jerk is the secret to longevity.
It sucks when you find out the people who are in Health Care don’t.
I’m glad to hear your grandson made it.
I take 1x 325mg aspirin 2x a day plus a blood thinner. IMO better to keep the blood too thin then not. Easier on the heart for whatever -itis it experiences.
Thank God he’s doing better. Try not to take comments too personally, strange times we’re all living in.
Your grandchild is in my prayers
Dittoes. 🙏
just like in nearly every other case of “died suddenly”.
Or the mutation variant, Unexpectedly
Beautiful
Do you still suffer from exposure to Agent Orange?
why be angry at a FR poster instead of
Because of projection. Here we have up close and personal interaction. The Vaxxaholics and Masked Idiots are distant and in many cases, nameless.
I understand the need to be angry.
I bake pies because punching people is frowned upon.
Sucks having a child that did that to their child, I understand.
In your own words from your profile page, “Go away.”
Hi, Citizen.
I am confused about that reaction as well. Makes no sense. Perhaps the grandparent just needs someone - anyone to vent at....
So.
The assumption should be vax death.
BigJab are proven liars so any evidence of harm should be construed against them until proven otherwise.
