China is not an expansionist power. Never has been, never will be. Socialism with Chinese characteristics is for the Han people, unlike transgenderism and finance capitalism, which the US demands to impose on the whole world.
You are correct.
For the time being, the extremely fluid economic and political conditions in China make military expansion beyond the China coast line unlikely and probably impossible. There may be military types chomping at the bit but the country is in such total disarray they have become out of touch.
Except for taking over vast ocean areas and many of the islands therein, to the point of building new islands, Tibet, and soon Taiwan, you could be onto something.
“China is not an expansionist power.”
Too funny!
China creates islands in the sea to expand its power and influence; takes over waterways halfway around the world from China’s shores; threatens its neighbors; buys up farmland around the globe; buys up multinational companies at a comet’s pace; makes significant inroads into Africa and South-central Asia and South America; and in your peculiar little world that is not expansion.
“China is not an expansionist power.”
Tibet has entered the chat.
