But does it kill amoebas?

Actually curious because I do not know.

Our well water would be far to cold for this type of amoeba.

I do not know either, I should ask. We have the water tested annually. A neighbor had e coli, which encouraged us to get the UV filter.

A quick google search (probably a popular search this morning): “UV is very effective in killing Naegleria fowleri bacteria, as well as all other bacteria.”
