Just Call it What it Is

Government actions and policies have transcended the belief that we are drifting towards socialism.

Ever fearful of a Trump curtain call in 2024, the powers behind Joe Biden’s throne have throttled up their efforts to institutionalize socialist rule in America. A path has been cut by means of a legal assault on state election protocols, causing Republicans to surrender real estate in swing states that now use mail-in ballots, dumps, and late counts, and outdated voter registries to create conditions favorable to fraud.

Democrats have capsized a resuscitating economy and overburdened a working class already paying the bills for a welfare state overrun by millions of illegals. Influence over policy has been surrendered to the party’s radical fringe, still under the spell of the former laughingstock of the Upper House, Bernie Sanders, who has elevated democratic socialism to a rebel yell. Their doctrine is rooted in the writings and lectures of Karl Marx and his protégés, all adapted into a couple of how-to guides by American radical political theorist, Saul Alinsky.

In his 1946 Reveille for Radicals Handbook, Alinsky told his followers to "fan the latent hostilities" of low-income, inner city residents and "search out controversy and issues, rather than avoid them." In Rules for Radicals (1971), he wrote that ridicule of one’s opponent is a potent weapon, a strategy oft-used by Biden to belittle MAGA followers and Republicans en masse. Alinsky’s writings heavily informed the politics of a young Wellesley student, Hillary Clinton, who became a pen pal and fawned over his theories in her 1969 senior thesis. Barack Obama also saw Alinsky as the sage behind his community agitating in Chicago, as did Patrice Cullors, founding activist of the Black Lives Matter Global Network, a nonprofit money pit that showed less concern for the welfare of Black neighborhoods

I look for a push to allow illegals to vote and more “mostly peaceful” protests.

Most of this is old news. We learned all this stuff back in 2009.

The question is, what are we going to do about it?

The article is valuable as a catalog of methods used by the left to gain political power.

The elections of 2020 in 2022 should demonstrate beyond question the effectiveness of these methods causing Republicans to lose these elections when by all historical norms they should have sailed to victory. The victories of Biden in 2020 and Fetterman in 2022 alone should be proof enough.

The question is why have these methods prevailed at the ballot box for decades, but even more recently, against what used to be our rock solid culture and rock solid core beliefs as a nation?

We have generally catalog the reasons why the methods have prevailed. The media has distorted most Americans view of the world and that finds expression at the ballot box.

The Republicans are telling people to eat their spinach while Democrats are inviting them to a second helping of dessert. When Bill Buckley said Republicans "stand athwart history shouting stop," he meant in part to stop the goodies dished out by Democrats in government in exchange for votes.

The Democrats, along with the Chinese, have infiltrated and subverted virtually every American institution such as education and we are now witnessing the harvesting of generations of indoctrination.

With the subversion of education, the media and so many other institutions, the methods exploited by Democrats as outlined in this article are not effectively rebutted. The more the left succeeds the more it succeeds because the richer it becomes, the more numerous it becomes, it's power of intimidation becomes greater. As it appears inevitable the left moves across the electoral college landscape like locusts.

Even if we become more effective and overcome these obstacles, we face a real existential danger as and if the nation suffers a serious economic setback. At that time a desperate public, already schooled to accept Marxist dogma "cleverly disguised," will eagerly follow leftists politicians promising them relief through Marxism. Republicans will not know what hit them.

What they will get is tyranny.

Kung flu lockdowns cost me 95% of my business. A brief recovery let me build up some. Bidenflation raise my costs 100%. We are screwed.

They have prevailed because the Democrats appeal to human stupidity and there's plenty of that in the American electorate (as you say, "what do you voters want, spinach or dessert?").

The Democrats are converting America from a Republic to a Democracy by appealing to the lowest common denominator.

The question is, can we reverse it when our schools and colleges are teaching kids that intelligence and wisdom ("math, science, hard work, punctuality, honesty, etc.") are racist?

Well put. An essential reality is that the left deploys "racism" as an effective shield to deflect any attempts to teach children or the electorate according to the lights of intelligence and wisdom.

Time to revisit nathanbedford's first maxim of American politics: all politics in America is not local but ultimately racial.

Unfortunately, hard times are the only sure cure for stupidity. People soon learn that only competence can produce food, clothing, and shelter - and begin to favor the makers over the fakers and takers.

Life has been so easy in America for so long that Democrats had little trouble taking over with promises of free dessert for all - forever. As times get harder and they are forced to renege on all of those shiny promises, their only way out will be misusing the police powers of government to eliminate their critics.

I agree, but...hard times will play into the hands of the Marxists who are taking over our system of government.

When people can't afford to eat, the government (in its takeover of everything) will institute breadlines. And the people will be so thankful.

what are we going to do about it?

Well, if your things are "freedom" and "liberty", you're going to do nothing, since only state power in the right hands can crush the bolshevik tidal wave.

I don't think that's true. Or, at least I hope not.

Even if Trump gets elected and leads us into battle to "crush the bolshevik tidal wave" (as you put it), I don't think the Deep State will fight on our side.

I won't say it, but I will ask, what alternative do we have if the Democrat-Marxists (let's call them what they are) have removed all civilized and peaceful alternatives?

The tide will not turn until evil people start dying and their followers see the true consequences of their actions.

OK, ricky...
Let’s get something straight right off the bat.
bush league chamber of commerce worshiping republiCAN’Ts did not forcibly surrender in swing states.
They were willingly bought off, and are part and parcel of the socialist’s plans.

Let’s call a spade a spade.
And let’s call bush league chamber of commerce worshiping republiCAN’Ts what they are....
socialist new world order traitors.

There are three alternatives:

1) Do nothing
2) Dress up in 18th century clothes and walk around passing out copies of the Constitution
3) [fill in the blank]

And, by the way, re: "Democrat-Marxists" - it's not just Democrats. It's most Republicans, and virtually all elected ones, as well

I don't think the Republicans are genuine Marxists, are they? More like they are just spineless Deep State wanna-be's who refuse to see that the Demo-Marxists are trying to overthrow the government.

They are the "go along to get along" Party.

BTW, I think the only answer is "fill in the blank."

As an aside, I think Trump realizes he is about to lead a counter-revolution. And I think Democrats and Republicans know it too.

At this point, there is no other answer.
