Even the artificial ‘AI’ we have now is a misnomer.I have an acquaintence who is a high end AI developer, and he tells me it's still mostly complicated decision trees, with the ability for the machine to add additional decisions trees on its own.

I'm sure it works for some applications; but 'if this and this, then this', just doesn't work for many human life situations - and never will.
This is just more of the still entrenched Cartesian approach of the Great God Science.
