Why on earth should Idahoans want to absorb them?

Eastern Oregon is very similar to Idaho. Similar population density. Similar incomes. Similar political makeup. I think they would fit well and carry their share of the state taxes and support. I suspect they would welcome a lower tax burden than inflicted by the current state of Oregon.

I believe we will see more states break up and form new states—Like east/west New York and North South Nevada and California. Obama may get his wish of 57 states after all. Maybe need a new flag too?
