Used to have a co-worker that was smart as all get-out.
Excellent tech, and was highly intelligent.
Except for alcohol. He could not leave it alone, and it finally killed him.......................
So sad, isn’t it. My son was always the smartest and best-looking person in the family. Alcohol is a horrible addiction, but he refused to go to AA, which works for a lot of people.
Like the old saying, you can’t fix stupid, sometimes you just can’t fix smart.
