If even the Director of National Intelligence thinks the government is hiding information from the public (that is not related to our own black craft or those of our adversaries), what is the government (mostly the DOD and USAF) hiding and why?

Absolutely no excuse for secrecy if object is not military in any way...or connected to a foreign country.
Wonder how much we will have to pay companies for a shoot down of a $12 balloon.

Let's be real....every balloon on earth will become regulated....and have to ask permission of the US government. Again...it's all about control..No guns...no free speech...no regular light bulbs...no plastic straws....no plastic bags...BUT....
Everyone gets a Covid booster.....along with Covid itself.

All this UFO/UAF business is just to take attention off of Biden’s failure to protect the American heartland from a massive Chinese spy balloon that could have easily been a bio weapons platform.
