Day 163 of the Iranian national uprising for democracy was eventful in Iran's provinces.
nationwide uprising entered its 163rd day on Saturday in different parts of the country against the mullahs' brutal dictatorship.
The Iranian opposition MEK has published the names of 17 more martyrs of the February 25 nationwide uprising. So far, the names of 664 martyrs have been published.
Mass demonstrations in Baluchistan
On Friday, February 24, the 162nd day of the nationwide uprising, the brave people of Zahedan held demonstrations after Friday prayers for the 21st week after the Zahedan Bloody Friday. The demonstrations took place despite the unannounced imposition of martial law, deployment of snipers, siege of the Makki mosque and widespread arrests.
They chanted: "Death to the clerical rule of aggression and crimes," "I promise the blood of our comrades, we will stand till the end," "Basiji, IRGC, are the same as ISIS," and "I will kill the one who killed my brother."
The demonstrators carried placards that read "Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader (Khamenei)", "Neither monarchy nor leadership (Khamenei)", "We are a nation that has not bowed to any dictator" and "They thought they had killed Mahsa, Nika and Khodanour, not knowing that they were the seeds of the revolution."
Repressive forces equipped with heavy weapons and snipers were stationed on the heights around the Makki Mosque, and IRGC plainclothes forces attempted to enter the Makki Mosque through the roof but were blocked by the mosque guards.
Since Wednesday, State Security Forces (SSF) motorcyclists have been sent to Zahedan from neighboring towns. The regime has completely shut down the internet in Zahedan to prevent any media coverage. In the town of Khash, repressive forces were stationed around the Al Khalil mosque, the site of Friday prayers,...

I don’t think the clerics or the state police will ever give up. There will have to be a national religious charity to get funds and weapons to send them to meet allah.
Valarie Jarrett, Zer0 and Bi-Dung must have the crap-vapors over this.
The people of Iran have the very government their parents and grandparents rioted for in 1979.
Enjoy.
This would seem to be a big deal: 163 days of protest in a totalitarian Muslim nation where people are literally murdered in public for participating in such a thing. Yet there is nary a peep from the MSM or the White House.
Hmmmm. Most curious. Any guesses as to why?
They can demonstrate forever and nothing will change. Their only hope is that the mullahs bring about their own destruction by provoking Israel. Obama solidified mullah rule by sending pallets of cash. The revolutionary guards and police who crack heads demanded pay in hard currency.
I am sure that Iran is the perfect government in Zer0’s mind.
Why did they wait for freedom hating Biden to be in the White House? Same with Cuban freedom fighters?
Tagline explains it with every post.
Again?
.
The trigger event in Iran = the killing of Mahsa Amini.
In most of the world, these sorts of events do not revolve around the USA, and especially not around who is in office here.
Very “chaotic” article. Are we to take it that more than 17 people were killed in the protests on Feb. 25, 2023, and that 664 have been killed in 163 days (as of Feb. 25, 2023)?
There has actually been quite a bit of coverage. However, if you take out the time spent on “get Trump” in a typical 30 minute (less commercials) nightly news broadcast, and then take out various natural and man-made disasters, Ukraine, notable(?) weather events, climate change, racial conflict, sensationalized (but meaningless on a national scale) trials... well, we are lucky to see a few seconds of an Iranian protest, and likely a homage to those “brave Iranian young women”, every week or two. (Don’t get me wrong, you gotta be darn brave to protest in Iran!)
And after all, superficially viewed, an average of ~4 people dying a day is really not a big deal, is it? 4 HUNDRED fatalities from fighting is a really light day in Ukraine...
The fact that a neutral, pragmatic gov’t in Tehran would likely end the threat of a nuclear arms race in the ME for as long as that gov’t was in power doesn’t get discussed. :-(
“See tagline” - Our biggest problem, by far, is that almost all of big media is AGENDA-DRIVEN, not-truth driven.
Well, yeah. That too.
In case someone misses the reality. It’s ethnic cleansing by the regime..
The “media” is neither “agenda driven” nor “truth driven”,
they are all “revenue driven”.
Such as it ever was...
