Yep, I recently bought a low-mileage 2016 F150, knew the owner who bought it new, knew it had been well maintained, was not used for heavy hauling. Great truck, love it. It should easily last me until I can’t drive any more. Kept my old truck for dirty work.

I’m sharing this truck with Beau. While I CAN safely drive it, and I learned how to QUICKLY put it into 4WD last week when I got stuck on an icy hill, it’s a tiny bit too much truck for me. He’s a big guy, and even my 2008 Escape wasn’t all that comfortable for him. (That one went to a family friend in need, though it needed a new muffler.)

Anyhow, I want a smaller vehicle for just myself. Either another Escape (but with 4WD) or a Subaru Forester or similar.

But I, like everyone else, is waiting for the economy to turn around again. Again, cash, not financed. ;)
