Low magazine capacity for size, bulky, bit heavy... :P Also, endorsing Bill Ruger’s “Nobody needs more than 15 rounds!” because he wasn’t able to design a competitive firearm that held more. Remember, he supported the Brady Bill to try to protect his pwesus pwesus P-series and Mini-14s.
Since Bill died, they’ve made much better firearms. I’ll give you that the P-series is sturdy and reliable, though large and not terribly accurate on average.
P-85 MK-II Mine had 2-17 round mags with it. I supplemented with 2-35 round spares and it all fit nicely in the shoulder rig, pistol 17+1 on left and 1-17 mag in single pouch + 2-35 mags in double pouch I modified for the long mags on right. No printing with a shirt or jacket. I worked in Little Rock back then, had but t never had to use for any scumbags.
Before I added a few too many pounds to My frame-
Also very comfy in hand and after adjusting the sights and some polishing was accurate for Me.

10 round Ruger ticked me off too.
