Cosori air fryers sold at Best Buy, Target and The Home Depot stores nationwide and online from June 2018 through December 2022.
The recall was initiated over a faulty wire connection. Cosori said that “in extremely rare circumstances,” the closed-end crimp connectors, which electrically connect certain wires inside the fryers, can overheat, possibly causing fires and burns.
So far, Cosori has received 205 reports of the fryers catching fire, burning, melting, overheating and smoking, including 10 reports of minor burns and 23 reports of minor property damage.

So a 0.01% failure rate is enough for a recall on an appliance, yet thousands of questionable deaths are not enough to recall a vaccine?
Our Bella finally wore out and we got a new Insta brand one, to match our InstaPot pressure cooker. Very happy with both.
Why were they cooking themselves? I know food is expensive, but air frying yourself seems extreme.

Great point. Obviously air fryers are not a part of the great global reset, and therefore are not a protected, mandated entity. Hence, normal rules are in force and apply.
A friend of mine wanted an air fryer and asked me to research it, find the best one. I couldn’t find a good one! Concluded they’re all junk and told her to stick to microwave (as long as it’s not a GE microwave).
A while back I looked into washers and dryers and found out they’re mostly junk, made in China, and an old made-in-USA will probably outlive you.
