A polite way of saying "hamburger grease".

I save all the fats (separately of course) especially bacon grease. You can make a nicer roux, you can use them with the air-fryer.

If you get beef processed at a locker plant, you can tell them you want the fat they trim off. That is what you use to render or make tallow. Same for lard from pigs.

...bacon grease, or as my father used to call it, "salad dressing." This was when I was a kid and my parents dramatically changed their eating habits later.
