There’s way too many gators now in Florida. I applaud their efforts to bring the species, but the pendulum has swung too far. Especially with all the new people living there.

Time to cull the population. Open up the hunting season to everyone and relax size restrictions.

I guess I’ve never heard gators fearing anything. But I think I’ve seen a video of crocks showing respect to hippos.

10 footers are formidable. I think the rationale for protecting them is that the yokels can’t, or won’t, distinguish between ‘gators and crocodiles.

Every new housing development has a lake here these days. So much building! So many people coming here. Not good. Expensive, exploding housing.

When I was a teenager I had a lot of friends that airboated the glades on a regular basis. Some had camps out there that were in their families for generations. They used to say way back then that the ban was ridiculous because the population was out of control. I went out there one night and was astonished at all the glowing eyes around us. Once again, a government created problem.
