The absurdity of gender ideology leads to incredible claims from pockets of establishment media. Now, according to one left-wing professor, the entire Spanish-speaking world is to be condemned as “transphobic.”
Writing for the San Francisco Chronicle, Sebastian Ferrada declared that the refusal by Latinos to use the activist creations “Latinx” or “Latine” in order to degender the word is "transphobic."

Insane. I guess Spanish grammar is a “hate crime.” Language in general is “hate” no doubt.
I’d like to see Ferrada tell that to MS-13 or the Sinaloa Cartel.
I’d pay to see that.
Keep them talking such nonsense so we will know the mentally disturbed are and avoid them and their power lust
Naw...more like idiotphobic...Sod off!
Maybe they could change it to “latinks” or “latinky winky” or even “latwink”! LOL!
Just when I thought I had seen it all. This has to be the dumbest thing anybody has come up with. So now we are Americanx or New Yorkerx or Floridianx. And if we don’t agree we’re homophobic. What a bunch of morons or should I say moronxes.
As I told any student who has brought this up, “I am not a linguistic imperialist and will not be trying to impose our cultural issues on the official language of 21 other countries.” Language is always changing I will adjust when and if those countries make the adjustment.
No one is trans. Latinx is not a word. Leftist insanity should be ignored.
Every Romance language and their root, Latin.
Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Romanian, Catalan and the myriad regional languages of their regions.
Save one - Basque. It is (mostly) genderless, except for gendered terms borrowed from Spanish or French which retain their gendered treatment in Basque usage.
Tagalog, and other Austronesian languages, are also genderless and drop the gendered treatment of their borrowed words.
Its an interesting subject.
In any case, this is a very silly person. He/she/it should probably learn Tagalog or Malay and move to Asia to observe the social effects of genderless languages (which is nil).
I never quite understand the “phobic” part- what it is …. i dont like made up bullshit, like latinx. Im not scared or in fear of trans people , its that the lifestyle is clearly unnatural and expecting people to embrace whatever nonsense these folks conjure up is not realistic.
Then I guess most Latinos are transphobic because every single one I know hate the term “Latinx”.
So says Sebastian Ferradx...or is it Sebastian Ferrade?
Guess what? Nobody cares. I’d offer mental health resources, but that is is. I certainly won’t be indulging their delusions.
Normally I would be outraged over this but I am not only pregnant but I’m about to enter my next menstrual cycle and not only did I leave my tampons at home but my hair is a mess, don’t know how I’m going to get through this workday - I’m talking serious PMS here lads and ladies.
Rejecting made up word means you suffer from fake ailment. Honk honk
Just more Gibberish
A phobia is a mental illness. They’re saying you are mentally ill for not embracing their mental illness.
Transnauseous is a better word.
