Virtually every societal dysfunction we see in America today has its roots in the LBJ administration, a man so wholly terrible that even he knew he was unfit to continue serving as president and mercifully spared us a second full term.
at that time, the public badly over reacted to the Kennedy assassination, and Johnson got the “sympathy” vote....that bastard had over a 100 seat majority in the House, and had 67 Dems in the Senate....and the rest is history....
