Derrick Lemond Simmons, 50, was arrested after he attacked the unnamed coworker with a bat, knife and hatchet at the semiconductor manufacturer’s Ocotillo campus on Saturday, according to court documents obtained by Arizona Family.
Chandler police responding to the scene found one person dead with fatal blunt force trauma injuries and another person injured.

True: this guy was just mad about the white supremacists that he heard about on CNN. So, he had to take it out on someone.

the attacker is black. The victim could be brown or white.

I worked for decades in an urban public high school. I always had police-grade pepper spray within reach. Having such an item on campus was a no-no, of course. Can’t have anything that could be considered a weapon! But I figured that if I were caught, I’d play dumb and just get a reprimand.
Now here’s the thing. I know of one teacher (a grumpy old guy) who definitely had a handgun hidden in his room. It was well out of the reach of any student, but available if the teacher needed it.
The principal would have been horrified had she known this. But his room would have been the safest place to be in an active shooter situation.
The victim may very well be Asian. Unfortunately for libs, that doesn't fit "the narrative".
